In the middle of the golden triangle
Unit 15 Paynes Lane sits in Rugby, inside the stretch of the Midlands where most of the country’s national distribution centres are: the M1, the M6 and the A14 within a few miles of each other, and DIRFT just up the road. More pallets pass through this area than anywhere else in Britain.
That means big sheds, high racking and long shifts, and it means a machine standing idle is expensive in a way it is not elsewhere. The engineers here work out of this building and cover the whole triangle from it.
The centre covers the whole of it from here: hire, sales, servicing, repairs and training, on forklifts and on everything that works alongside them.

Accessories alongside the trucks
Alongside the full forklift range, this centre carries the equipment that works with it: hand pallet trucks, sack barrows, trolleys, powered stair climbers and access platforms.
It is unglamorous and it is genuinely useful, and it is easier to buy from people who already service your trucks. If you are not sure what will move a particular awkward load up a particular awkward step, ask: it is the sort of question this depot enjoys.

High racking and narrow aisles
The distribution sheds along the M1 and A14 are built tall, and working them safely means reach trucks that go to height without losing stability, or articulated trucks that turn in an aisle a counterbalance cannot.
A Flexi articulated truck will work an aisle around half the width a conventional counterbalance needs, which on a large floor can mean several more racking runs in the same building. We hire and sell them and can walk a site with you to see whether the numbers work.

Paynes Lane Industrial Estate is on the eastern side of Rugby, a short run from junction 1 of the M6 and junction 18 of the M1. There is parking on site.
