A working forklift depot six miles from Norwich city centre
Rackheath is a full regional service centre: engineers, a parts store, a workshop and hire machines on the yard, five minutes off the A1151 and a short run from the northern bypass. It is one of Acclaim's eight centres across the UK, and it is the one that answers when a business in Norfolk calls.
That matters most on the days something has gone wrong. The engineer who arrives works out of this building, knows the roads and has the common parts on the van. Across the company, 92 out of every 100 callouts we attend are fixed on the first visit.
We have been supplying and looking after handling equipment since 1982 and we are still independent, which means the machine we recommend is the one that suits the job. We are an exclusive dealer for STILL, Hyundai and Lonking, and we also supply Flexi articulated trucks, Genie access equipment and Kärcher cleaning machinery.

When a forklift goes down in Norfolk
A truck out of action stops the loading bay, and the cost is measured in hours. Because the hire fleet and the engineers share a yard here, a replacement can be prepared and a visit booked in the same conversation.
Regular customers put the two together as a contract: the machine, its servicing and its statutory inspections in one monthly figure, with cover if it is off the road. It removes the phone call that starts with working out who to ring.

Finding our Norwich depot
We are on Mission Road at the northern end of Rackheath Industrial Estate, signposted off the A1151 Wroxham Road. There is parking on site and space for a lorry.
