Mental Health Courses are training programs that teach individuals how to identify, respond, and understand to signs of mental illnesses and substance use disorders. The goal of the course is to provide participants with the skills and knowledge they need to help someone who may be experiencing a mental health or substance use challenge. MHFA courses are typically led by trained instructors and cover topics such as depression, anxiety, psychosis, and addiction. Upon completion of the course, participants receive a certification recognising their training in mental health first aid.
