We are hiring HGV Class 1 Driver Operator

Acclaim Handling are hiring

As a result of growth, Acclaim Handling Ltd are recruiting for a HGV Class 1 Driver Operator, based from our Rugby Depot in Warwickshire, CV21 2UH.

We are looking for people who can deliver and collect our fleet of forklift trucks from our customer network on a low loader vehicle (Training will be provided, if required).

As an HGV class 1 driver we are looking for people that have the correct licences, hold a CPC card, enjoy dealing with people on a daily basis, have excellent customer service skills and understand the importance of health and safety within an organisation.

Any mechanical/electrical experience of working on Forklift trucks or similar machines/vehicles e.g. Plant, Construction, HGV, Motor vehicles is desirable but not entirely necessary.

Benefits include:

  • £13.00 – £15.00 per hour depending on experience and skills.
  • 40 hours a week, Mon to Fri, 8am to 4.30pm plus overtime as required.
  • 23 days Holiday increasing to 25, plus bank holidays
