Acclaim defies recession to improve service and value

Following a review of our operations Acclaim Handling has announced important changes to improve service to customers by expanding Local Regional Offices and offering customers new services with added value and choice in mind.

Acclaim Director David Woods says, “The conventional wisdom of the recession is to retreat. At Acclaim we have taken a different approach. We have listened to our customers and we are now expanding. Firstly, we want to improve local services and ensure that customers have access to our experts to rely on their technical and local knowledge. Secondly, we have increased the choice of world class equipment for sale whether new, second-hand, contract hire or lease purchase. Finally we know lots of businesses are looking for ways to trim costs. We have been looking around for low cost accessories for some time. We have found and acquired one of the trade’s secrets, an on line store to deliver you no nonsense accessories with fast delivery and automated or account payment backed by a team that know all about bargains.”

Acclaim changes in detail are:

  • A new Rugby based Regional Service Centre serving the West Midlands and exclusively to the area, offering the Nissan range of fork lift trucks. Click here for more information on the office and the team who are there to serve you. Each of our Regional Service Centres has its local webpage on our website; click here to navigate to our home page where you can select one of our local service centres and learn about services provided and new ranges of trucks for sale.
  • Our on line accessories are available now at www.liftruck.co.uk. There are bargains to be had on hundreds of different products. For example our hand pallet truck range starts from as low as £99!
  • If one of your forks is damaged / worn, both must be replaced at the same time so one doesn’t have more wear than the other. – Read our guide to measuring your forks.
  • We now handle a greater range of new fork lift trucks with global brands Nissan and Caterpillar joining our existing range of global brand forklift trucks we already supply and maintain.

Richard Bonser Acclaim’s MD adds. “We have not finished yet with more improvements in the pipeline. We invite you to keep an eye on our web site for more news. Feedback is very important in our business and we welcome comments on new and existing services” Click here to leave a comment on our contact us page or ring our Head Office on 01708 861 414.
