Acclaim Handling announce partnership with Moove Lubricants

Moove Lubricants is a world class manufacturer and supplier of automotive lubricants, ancillaries and chemicals. It is one of the  Cosan Group Companies (founded in 1936) and was formed when it attained the ExxonMobil shares in Brazil. In 2012, they set up their European HQ and production facility, in Gravesend, Kent. Moove is divided between Moove Europe: UK, Portugal, Spain, France and Moove Americas: Brazil, Bolivia, Paraguay, Uruguay, Argentina and USA.

The partnership between Acclaim and Moove has been longstanding, dating back to 2002 when they had their very first Casual Hire contracts with us for several STILL R20s, when they were previously known as Comma Oil. Since 2019, we have been their preferred provider for all their  Forklift Driver Training needs. The partnership has developed over time to the point that they felt that Acclaim and STILL product was the right choice, even though not the cheapest to buy they are cost effective in the long run, in terms of service.

In 2021, Moove Lubricants expanded their fleet of trucks from Acclaim Handling. Starting with just 2 trucks from us, Moove have now extended their fleet to 30. The trucks are needed for a wide range of movements throughout their operation, from bringing in bulk product (15 x STILL RX20 Counterbalance), to movements around the production areas (5 x STILL EXU PPT), to order picking batches for customers (8 x STILL OXV-08) to loading lorries for deliveries (STILL RX20 Counterbalance). We also supplied a Hako B900 Cleaner to keep the warehouse clean and debris free which helps to keep the machinery in a better operational condition.

Once their fleet had fully arrived in Mid-2021, we visited Moove in Gravesend to see the trucks in action. Whilst on site the warehouse operatives expressed how pleased they are with their brand new STILL trucks. Boasting about the quality, reliability and safety. One of their favourite features is the hand break on the STILL RX20s. This ensures the safety of the operator and people in the surrounding areas whilst the truck is both in use and idle.

Why did you choose Acclaim?

Whilst at Moove we asked Stuart Perry, the Warehouse Manager, what he thought of our partnership and this is what he had to say:

“We chose to work with Acclaim as they offer the partnership, something that we’re looking for. We need to work very closely with our suppliers, they’re friendly, approachable, they have a great service level and they offered solutions coming to view our site and work with us and above all they offered integrity”.

“We’re a busy site and we need robust trucks we need trucks that aren’t going to let us down. We have a lot of movements on site every day and we need our staff to be kept safe and we need them comfortable in all the tasks they’re undertaking”.

– Stuart Perry, Warehouse Manager at Moove Lubricants
