Coronavirus Update from Acclaim Handling – Dated 25/03/2020

Health and safety is the number one priority to Acclaim Handling and the Corona virus presents a risk to all of our health. Acclaim Handling are taking an approach to ensuring these risks are minimised for our team members as well as our customers, while ensuring the highest possible levels of business continuity. This business statement is reviewed regularly and will be updated following the latest advice and guidance from HM Government and the NHS.

Acclaim Handlings’ position is currently one of open for business. However we are currently working with reduced face to face interaction and a high degree of readiness to respond as needs change. Our team members are all being fully appraised of the very latest information on the prevention, symptoms and Health Service recommendations regarding Coronavirus. In line with Government advice we have taken vigorous steps to allow all possible team members to work from home. Where home working is not possible, we have taken all possible measures to limit exposure and to maximise the safety of our team.

Acclaim Handlings’ Service Team are continuing to provide essential preventative maintenance and breakdown repair as usual. We are working closely with key businesses, who need our support, to ensure their supply chains, supporting the NHS, as well as the manufacture and distribution of medical goods and food continue working in an efficient and effective manner.

Our Regional Service Centres remain open, at this time, with critical staff to support our Service Team in providing this essential service.
