Kärcher Floor Scrubbers, Sweepers and Industrial Cleaning Equipment

Kärcher was founded in 1935 by the inventor Alfred Kärcher and remains a family-owned company headquartered in Winnenden, near Stuttgart, Germany. The company states that the cornerstone of its cleaning business was laid in 1950 with "the invention of Europe's first hot water high-pressure cleaner". (Source: kaercher.com, Company)

We list 287 Kärcher machines. All of them are new: Kärcher is a new-supply brand for us, not a used one.

Our scrubber drier listings run to 58 machines and split by how the operator works the floor:

• Compact and push: BD 17/5 C, BD 30/4 C, BD 38/12 C, BR 30/1 C, BR 30/4 C, BR 35/12 C, BR 40/10 C, BR 45/22 C, BR 47/35. Small footprints for washrooms, kitchens, retail aisles and anywhere a ride-on cannot turn.
• Walk behind: BD 43/25 C, BD 43/35 C, BD 50/50 C, BD 50/55 W, BD 70/75 W, BD 80/100 W, B 50 W, B 60 W, BR 85/100 W. The middle ground for warehouse gangways, production floors and school halls.
• Step on: BD 50/40 RS, BR 55/40 RS. Operator stands on; faster than walking, tighter than a ride-on.
• Ride on: B 110 R, B 150 R, B 200 R, B 220 R, B 260 RI, B 300 RI, BD 50/70 R. For large open floors where the constraint is square metres per hour, not access.
• Single disk: BDS 43/150, BDS 43/400, BDS 43/Orbital, BDS Duo, BDP 50/1500 C. Scrubbing, polishing and pad work rather than continuous wash-and-dry.

Battery specification is written into the model name. Kärcher list wet, AGM and lithium packs at different amp-hour ratings on the same machine: a B 150 R with 240Ah wet cells and a B 150 R with 220Ah AGM are different buys.

The KM range covers 24 machines, from the walk-behind KM 70/15 C Classic up to the KM 170/600 R D Classic. Power options across the range include battery (Bp), petrol (G), LPG and diesel (D); the options available vary by model, and each listing states which. Battery models for indoor work; LPG and diesel for yards, loading aprons and mixed indoor-outdoor sites.

Separately, our hire fleet sweepers include Hako and Tennant machines.

All 50 machines on our pressure washer listings are Kärcher, split into cold water (HD) and hot water (HDS):

• Cold water HD: from the HD 4/10 X Classic up to the HD 10/25-4 S. Mains, petrol and battery models, including the HD 4/11 Bp Pack Plus with a 120-litre water tank for sites with no hose point.
• Hot water HDS: HDS 5/11 U through to the HDS 18/18-4 S Classic, plus petrol and diesel-engined HDS 1000 Be and HDS 1000 De for off-grid work, and the electrically heated HDS-E 8/16-4 M in 12 kW, 24 kW and 36 kW where a burner flue is not an option.
• Specialist: the HD 10/15-4 Cage Food for food-production washdown and the HD 10/16-4 Cage Ex (ATEX) for hazardous areas.

Our vacuum listings carry 103 Kärcher machines:

• NT wet and dry: NT 22/1, NT 27/1, NT 30/1, NT 40/1, NT 48/1, NT 50/1, NT 65/2, NT 70/2, NT 70/3, NT 75/2, in 110 V and 240 V.
• T dry: T 10/1, T 11/1, T 12/1 eco!efficiency, with HEPA and battery variants.
• IVR, IVS, IVM and ID industrial vacuuming and dedusting: from the IVR-B 20/8 up to the IVR-L 400/24-2 Tc, plus ID fixed dedusting units.
• WVP 10 Adv window vac and the EB 30/1 Li-Ion sweeper vac for light duties.

Model names carry the dust letters (L, M and H), and Z22 appears on the zone-marked variants such as the IVM 40/12-1 H Z22 and the IVS 100/55 M Z22.

We also list Kärcher carpet and upholstery cleaners (16 machines including the Puzzi 10/1, Puzzi 9/1 Bp Adv, BRC 30/15 C, CV 30/1 and AB 20), along with categories for steam cleaners and steam vacuum cleaners, vehicle cleaning systems, dry ice cleaning, industrial vacuuming and dedusting solutions and municipal equipment. We hire all machine types, cleaning machinery included. The terms are the same as the rest of the fleet:

• No minimum hire period. A machine can go out for a day. The minimum charge is one week at the weekly rate.
• If the machine does not work, you get your money back. We will also send an engineer out to fix it, and put a prop-up machine in if we judge it necessary.
• Nationwide delivery. Transport is charged separately and the fee depends on where you are. We move all machine types, and we will transport for third parties too.

All prices are quoted excluding VAT.

New Kärcher machines can be bought outright or funded. We offer lease purchase, contract hire, operating lease and outright purchase, on new and used equipment alike, through a third-party funder.

We service Kärcher machines, and we cover the country from eight depots: South East (head office, Rainham), East Anglia, East (Pinchbeck, Spalding), Midlands, West, Southern, Liverpool/North and South Coast.

• Servicing and repairs: planned maintenance and fully comprehensive contracts are both available.
• Breakdowns: we have a callout number and an engineer can come out right away where it is necessary. Callout and travel are chargeable.

Does a cleaning machine need a thorough examination?

Sometimes. It is easy to assume a cleaning machine sits outside LOLER because it is not a forklift, but that is not always the case, and we are happy to confirm where yours stands. A high-tip sweeper raises its hopper hydraulically, and scope is a machine-by-machine question.

Where an examination is needed, we are CFTS accredited, and that accreditation is current. CFTS means one thorough examination covering LOLER and PUWER together, with one report, not two visits and two certificates.
