Hako Sweepers, Scrubber Dryers and Municipal Machines

Scrubmaster: scrubber dryers

Scrubmaster is Hako's wet-cleaning range. Hako describes these machines as ensuring "superior cleaning of both in- and outdoor areas as well as economically efficient wet cleaning", with area performance of over 15,000 m²/h at the top of the range (source: hako.com).

The range on Hako's site runs:

• Walk-behind scrubber dryers: B5, B8, B12, B25, B35/B50, B70, B90 CL
• Ride-on scrubber dryers: B75 R, B120 R, B175 R, B260 R, B400 R Series
• Autonomous scrubber dryers: B20 i, B75 i

Sweepmaster: sweepers and vacuum sweepers

Sweepmaster is the dry side of the range, for "removing dirt particles, dust and light debris". Hako lists walk-behind vacuum sweepers (M600, B500, 650, 800) and ride-on vacuum sweepers (B800 R, 900 R, 980 R/RH, 1200 RH, 1500 RH), with area performance up to 12,700 m²/h (source: hako.com).

Citymaster and Multicar: municipal machines

Citymaster machines are Hako's outdoor sweepers. Hako calls them "implement carriers and sweepers with articulated joint and all-wheel steering", built so they can be "re-tooled and equipped with a wide range of different attachments". The current line-up is the Citymaster 650, 1650 and 2250, plus the all-electric Citymaster 1650 ZE (source: hako.com).

Multicar is the load and implement carrier side: three basic models, described by Hako as "multifunctional load- and implement carriers" that can be "re-tooled for every application".

PowerBoss

PowerBoss is part of the Hako Group. Hako's group site lists three brands: Hako, Minuteman and PowerBoss (source: hako.com).

Hako also distributes the Whiz autonomous vacuum sweeper across EMEA under a 2021 agreement. Hako does not build the Whiz: it is a SoftBank Robotics machine.

We hire all machine types, cleaning machines included.

• No minimum hire period. A machine can go out for a day.
• Minimum charge is one week, at the weekly rate.
• If the machine does not work, you get your money back. We will also send an engineer out to fix it, and put a prop-up machine in if we deem it necessary. That applies to all equipment, not just forklifts.

Used

Used machines are inspected thoroughly to meet our standards before they get the stamp to go out to a customer. We also refurbish.

The vast majority of our used stock is ex-own-hire-fleet, machines we bought, ran and maintained ourselves.

Finance

On both new and used machines we offer:

• Outright purchase
• Lease purchase
• Contract hire
• Operating lease

Finance is arranged through a third-party funder.

We service Hako machines. Maintenance contracts come in two forms: fully comprehensive, and planned maintenance.

Equipment servicing starts from £90. Thorough examinations start from £135. All figures ex VAT.

On thorough examinations:

• We examine machines we did not supply.
• We examine access equipment and MEWPs, not just forklifts.
• We examine lifting accessories: slings, chains, forks and attachments.

Whether a given cleaning machine falls within LOLER is a machine-by-machine question, not a blanket one. A high-tip sweeper that raises its hopper hydraulically is a different case from a low-dump walk-behind. Tell us the model and we will tell you what it needs.

There is a callout number; an engineer can come out if we deem it necessary. Callout and travel are charged on top.

We deliver nationwide. The transport fee depends on where you are. We move all machine types, and our transport service is open to third parties. You do not have to have bought the machine from us.
