The HDS at a glance
A Kärcher HDS heats the water it sprays, so oil and grease break down faster and less detergent is needed. Most fire an oil burner on mains power; the HDS-E heats electrically, and the engine-driven versions need no power connection.

Middle and super class
- HDS 7/10-4 M: 700 l/h at 100 bar on single-phase power.
- HDS 9/20-4 M and HDS 9/20-4 Classic: 900 l/h at 200 bar.
- HDS 10/21-4 M, MXA and Classic: 1,000 l/h at 210 bar. The MXA winds a 20 m hose on an automatic reel.
- HDS 13/20-4 S: 1,300 l/h at 200 bar.
- HDS 18/18-4 S Classic: 1,730 l/h at 180 bar, for two lances at once.
The M and S machines reach 155 °C at the steam stage and carry two detergent tanks. The Classic versions heat to 80 °C and are built on an open tubular steel frame with a crane hook and a 30-litre fuel tank.

New specifications ordered from the factory, built to the capacity, mast and options you choose. New machinery lead times are as low as 2-3 weeks.
Electric and engine-driven
The HDS-E 8/16-4 M gives 760 l/h at 160 bar and up to 85 °C with no burner, for food plants, hospitals, kitchens and other indoor areas. It comes with 12, 24 or 36 kW of heating, and the higher ratings hold more heat in continuous work.
Away from mains power, the HDS 8/20 De (diesel) and HDS 8/20 G (petrol) deliver 800 l/h at 200 bar. The HDS 1000 De (diesel, 200 bar) and HDS 1000 Be (petrol, 210 bar) give 900 l/h, and all four sit in a steel frame built for crane lifting.
