We design, supply and install warehouse racking, from a single run of pallet racking to complete stores with mezzanines, shelving and high-density systems. Because we also supply the forklifts that work it, the racking and trucks are planned together, so the aisles, beam heights and load ratings suit the machines that will use them from the first day.
Every building is different, so every installation starts with a free site survey rather than a price list.
From survey to handover
- Site survey. We measure the building and its clear height to the underside of sprinklers, lights and roof steel, look at the floor slab, doors, columns and fire routes, and ask what you store, how much of it, how fast it moves and which trucks you run.
- Design. A layout and drawings, with the racking specified for the loads: frame and beam sections, bay sizes, beam levels, aisle widths for your trucks, and accessories such as mesh, pallet supports and upright protection.
- Quotation. A fixed quote for the racking, installation and, where needed, the trucks to work it.
- Installation. Our installers build the racking to SEMA guidance: anchored to the floor, set level and plumb, with every beam lock fitted. Work can be phased or done out of hours around a live operation.
- Handover. Load notices fixed to every run, drawings and a record of the installation, and a walk-round with the person responsible for racking safety.
- Inspection. Racking inspections to EN 15635 once it is in use, at least every 12 months.

Moving, extending and reconfiguring
Racking changes as the business does. We extend existing runs, reconfigure beam levels and bays with the load ratings rechecked, and dismantle, move and rebuild racking when you relocate. Moved racking is inspected before it is rebuilt, and any damaged components are replaced.
What affects the cost
There is no list price for installed racking, because it depends on your building and your stock: the number of pallet locations and how high they go, the load on each level, the type of system, accessories and protection, the floor, and whether the work has to fit around a live operation. The free site survey is how we get to a real figure, and pricing the racking and the trucks together avoids paying for height your trucks cannot reach.
