Tested and Certified Used Forklifts

Every single pre-owned forklift that you can see for sale on the Acclaim Handling website has been fully tested, serviced, and certified for safe operation. Our experienced engineers carefully inspect every major component of the forklift, including the brakes, mast, hydraulics, tyres, and forks, to ensure that it meets both our internal quality standards and all relevant safety regulations.

Once a used forklift passes this thorough assessment, it is then listed on the Acclaim Handling website for sale, giving you the reassurance that you’re investing in a machine that is fit for purpose from day one.

Second Hand Forklift Options in Liverpool

Buying a second-hand forklift doesn’t need to be risky. Every second hand forklift for sale in Liverpool is inspected by our own engineers, tested and serviced before it is listed on our website.

Every used forklift also leaves with a current thorough examination, so it is ready to work from the day it arrives.

If there is a used forklift truck for sale in Liverpool that you are interested in, please get in touch with us, and our team will talk you through that machine.

Flexible Financing When You Buy a Forklift in Liverpool

We understand that not every business wants to tie up a significant amount of capital in a forklift truck. That’s why we offer flexible financing options to suit your specific budget and operational needs.

Through our lease-purchase agreement, you can buy a brand-new or a second-hand forklift and pay for it over a flexible term of 1 to 5 years. And at the end of the agreement, the forklift is yours to keep, giving you a simple and manageable way to invest in vital equipment without the upfront financial strain.

Ongoing Support After Your Forklift Purchase

Our commitment to you doesn’t end at the point of sale. When you buy one of our new or used forklifts for sale in Liverpool, you’ll have access to our full after-sales support services, which include advice, maintenance, repairs, and parts supply.

Whether it’s routine servicing, sourcing OEM parts quickly, or you just need a bit of guidance, our Liverpool team is on hand Monday to Friday, 8:00am to 5:00pm. If a machine breaks down outside those hours, our emergency callout line runs 24/7.

Frequently Asked Questions About Liverpool Forklift Sales

We supply a large variety of forklift models, ranging from electric and diesel to LPG forklifts. Within each of these categories, you’ll find forklifts with varied lifting capacities, mast heights, and operational features to suit different business needs.

To give you an example, the forklift models we sell range from smaller, battery-powered options, such as the HYUNDAI 10BTR-9, which has a lifting capacity of 1,000 kg, to larger diesel-powered models like the HYUNDAI 250D-9, which is capable of lifting up to 25,000 kg.

Deciding whether to buy a new or a used forklift will depend on several factors, including your budget, usage needs, and long-term plans. New forklifts come with the latest technology, a specification matched to your site, and minimal initial maintenance requirements. This makes them ideal for businesses seeking reliability and extended service life.

Used forklifts, on the other hand, offer a more budget-friendly option and can be perfect for businesses with shorter-term needs or those looking to expand their fleet quickly.

It’s important to note that whether you choose to buy a new or used forklift from us, every machine is backed by our commitment to quality, reliability, and exceptional customer support.

Before a pre-owned forklift goes up for sale on our website, our engineers will carry out a comprehensive inspection of the machine. This involves a full mechanical assessment where every key component, including the mast, hydraulics, brakes, steering, tyres, and forks, is carefully checked and tested for wear, safety, and performance.

Once the initial inspection is complete, the forklift will undergo a full service and operational testing to ensure it performs reliably under typical working conditions. Only after passing these checks is the forklift listed for sale, giving you confidence that, despite being second-hand, the machine is safe and ready to use as intended.

When you purchase a forklift from us in Liverpool, you’ll have a range of flexible payment options to choose from. You can either buy your forklift outright or opt for a finance plan that is designed to help spread the cost over manageable monthly payments.

Generally speaking, when you buy a forklift in Liverpool from us, you can expect it to be delivered within the space of eight weeks.

So, if we have the forklift you are interested in available, we can deliver it to your site significantly quicker. If you already know the exact type of forklift you are looking for, please get in touch with us, and our team will confirm an accurate lead time for you.

Training is not included with the purchase of a forklift. However, you can most certainly take advantage of our accredited online and in-person training courses. Some of our training courses include:

  • Forklift counterbalance training
  • Reach truck training
  • Pivot steer / Bendi / Flexi training
  • Very narrow aisle training
  • Multi-directional sideloaders training

If you are after a more specific type of forklift training, please get in touch, and we will let you know if that is something we can help you with.

To ensure that you’re satisfied with your newly purchased forklift from us and that it remains operational, we offer extensive after-sales support. It typically includes emergency breakdown cover, access to OEM parts, and scheduled maintenance and compliance checks.

We also have depots and fully-qualified service engineers all over the country (including Liverpool). That way, we can provide you with fast and reliable support when you need it.

Yes. We have eight depots across England, in Purfleet, Kent, Reading, Portsmouth, Rugby, Norwich, Spalding and Liverpool, and we deliver nationwide. See our forklifts for sale nationwide.
