The ES stackers at a glance
Hyundai’s ES stackers are 24-volt electric pallet stackers for 1,000 to 1,500 kg, from compact walk-behind trucks for short, occasional lifts to a stand-on model for heavy stacking over longer distances. They run on AC motors with a Curtis controller, and all of them slow down automatically once the forks rise above 1.8 metres.

Five models
- 10ES and 12ES: 1,000 and 1,200 kg at a 500 mm load centre, pedestrian, for short shuttle runs, with lift heights from 1,600 to 3,300 mm.
- 15ES: 1,500 kg, pedestrian, lifting from 2,500 mm up to 5,600 mm on a triplex mast.
- 12ESN: 1,200 kg on a compact chassis with a maintenance-free gel battery, turning in 1,338 mm, for light work, occasional stacking and order picking.
- 15ESR: 1,500 kg with a suspended stand-on platform and electric power steering, travelling at up to 8.5 km/h empty, for heavy stacking over runs of more than 500 metres.
What to look at on a used stacker
Check the hour meter and battery discharge indicator, and that lift cut-off works when the battery runs low. Every pivot point has a grease fitting, so look for signs they have been kept greased. The one-piece front cover comes off to reach the components, and the 15ES and 15ESR have side battery removal. Our engineers inspect each used ES stacker before it goes on sale.
Supply, hire and training
We sell the ES used. Hyundai’s current range is the ES-X, at 1.2, 1.6 and 2.0 tonnes (12ES-X, 16ES-X and 20ES-X), which we supply new to order as Hyundai’s exclusive dealer and distributor, and we service both. Pallet stackers are available on hire and lease; ask us which models are available now. We run pedestrian stacker training at our centres and on customers’ sites.
