How the racking finder works
The right racking depends on a handful of things: what you store, how many different products you hold, how quickly stock moves, whether it has to go out in date order, how much floor space and height you have, and the trucks you run. The questions above work through those in order and point you to the systems that fit, with the trade-offs of each. It takes about a minute, and nothing is sent until you choose to send it.
The systems it chooses between:
- Pallet racking: direct access to every pallet, wide or narrow aisle.
- Drive-in and drive-through racking: dense storage for bulk stock of one product.
- Pallet shuttle racking: high density without driving into the rack.
- Pallet flow and push back racking: pallets that move themselves, FIFO or LIFO.
- Mobile racking: the most pallets in the least floor space.
- Cantilever racking: long and awkward goods.
- Industrial shelving: cartons, spares and small parts.
- Mezzanine floors: a whole new level inside your building.
