Why a Flexi instead of a reach truck

A reach truck needs a wider aisle to turn a pallet into the racking, and it is built for smooth floors indoors. A Flexi turns only its mast, so the aisle can be far narrower and the racking can take more runs in the same building. It also works outside like a counterbalance truck, so the same machine can unload a lorry in the yard and put the pallet away at height, with no need to hand the load to a second truck. For a very narrow aisle store that also receives its own deliveries, that is often one truck instead of two.

What is a Flexi truck?

An articulated forklift, built by Narrow Aisle Ltd, whose mast articulates at the front so the truck can stack into racking from a very narrow aisle while the chassis stays straight. It drives in and out of the building like a counterbalance truck.

Can a Flexi work outside?

Yes. Unlike most very narrow aisle trucks, a Flexi can work in the yard, which is why it is used to unload lorries and then store the pallets without a second truck.

Do you sell used Flexi trucks?

Yes. Used Flexi models such as the G4, AC 1000, ACiON 1000 and Euro come through our stock regularly, inspected and supplied with a current thorough examination.

What training does a Flexi operator need?

Articulated trucks have their own training category, often listed as pivot steer, Bendi or Flexi. Counterbalance or reach operators need conversion training first.
