Robotic floor scrubbers and cleaning robots do the repetitive part of floor cleaning on their own: the same large floor, the same route, every night. The cleaning team teaches the route once, the robot repeats it with the same result every time, and people concentrate on the edges, spills and jobs a machine cannot do.

The KIRA range
KIRA B 50 robotic scrubber dryer
A scrubber dryer for medium to large areas that can be driven like a normal walk-behind machine or left to clean on its own. It scrubs and dries in one pass, finds its way with laser sensors and cleans right to the edges of its route.
KIRA B 200 large area scrubber dryer robot
For large floors such as warehouses, distribution centres and factories, where a robot working through the night covers the area a ride-on machine and an operator would otherwise take a shift to do.
KIRA CV robotic vacuums
Commercial vacuum robots, the KIRA CV 50 and KIRA CV 60/1, for carpeted offices, corridors and hospitality areas.
How it works
- Teach the route. An operator drives or guides the machine round the area once, and it records the route and the settings.
- Schedule it. The robot runs the route when the area is quiet, often overnight or before the first shift.
- Check the report. What was cleaned, when, and anything that stopped it, so the result is recorded rather than assumed.
Laser and sensor systems stop the robot for people and obstacles and route it round them where it can, so it can work in areas that are in use.

Where a cleaning robot pays
- Large open floors cleaned on a regular schedule: warehouses, distribution centres, factories, retail and transport hubs.
- Sites that struggle to staff night or early cleaning.
- Floors where the standard has to be consistent and recorded, such as food, pharmaceutical and customer facing areas.
It suits less well where the floor is cluttered, changes every day, or is small enough that a person with a compact machine is quicker. A robot does not replace the cleaning team; it takes the repetitive hours off them.
