The AWP at a glance
The Genie AWP is a push-around mast lift. One person rolls it into place, sets the outriggers and rises on a vertical mast. It is 0.74 m wide, rolls through a standard doorway and loads into a van, and it is built for light construction and maintenance work.

Five heights
- AWP-20S: 8.10 m working height.
- AWP-25S: 9.50 m.
- AWP-30S: 11.0 m.
- AWP-36S: 13.10 m.
- AWP-40S: 14.30 m, with a tilt-back frame for getting through doorways.
Every AWP carries one person. Capacity is 159 kg, or 136 kg on the AWP-40S. A Super-Straddle option lets the base stand over fixed seating.

Mains or battery
AC models plug into 110 V or 220 V mains. DC models run from a 12 V battery, so they work where there is no socket, and weigh about 40 kg more.
Indoor or outdoor outriggers
With outdoor outriggers an AWP is rated for wind speeds to 12.5 m/s. With indoor outriggers it is for indoor use only. The outdoor set needs more floor: 3.9 by 3.7 m on the AWP-40S, against 2.3 by 2.0 m indoors. Check which outriggers come with the machine.
Checking a used AWP
Our engineers inspect every used AWP before sale. Check the sequencing cables and pulleys, lifting chains and idler wheels, the mast columns, outriggers and levelling jacks, castors and brakes, battery terminals and connections, and the hydraulic power unit and hoses.
Supply, hire and training
New AWPs come from us as an authorised Genie dealer, and our engineers look after them in service, thorough examinations included. Mast lifts are available on hire and lease; ask us which models are available now. We run MEWP training at our centres and on customers’ sites, including scissor lift and cherry picker courses.
