Scissor lift hire
Scissor lifts, slab and rough terrain
A scissor lift gives a bigger platform that carries more, but only goes straight up. It suits work directly above a clear floor, with room for two people and materials. We have scissor lifts in stock.

Cherry picker and boom lift hire
Genie telescopic boom lifts
A cherry picker is a boom-type mobile elevating work platform, or MEWP. The basket is lifted to the work on a hydraulic boom and gets over obstacles a scissor lift has to go straight up past.

Mast lift hire
Vertical mast lifts
Where the work is directly overhead and the footprint is tight, a vertical mast lift is often the better and cheaper answer than a boom.

Scissor lift
A bigger platform that carries more, but only goes straight up.

Two figures decide whether a machine will do your job. Working height is how high a person on the platform can reach, normally the platform height plus about two metres. Outreach is how far sideways the basket will go from the base. Tell us the height you need to reach, how far the machine will have to stand back, and what the ground is like, and we will put the right machine on the job rather than the biggest one.

| If a machine stops | You get your money back, and we send one of our own engineers out to it, not a subcontractor. Where we judge it necessary we supply a stand-in machine. |
| Delivery | Nationwide from eight depots. Transport is charged separately and the cost depends on where the machine is going. |

| Longer term | Lease purchase, contract hire or operating lease, on used machines as well as new. See leasing and contract hire. |
If a hire runs on and starts to look permanent, we will say so, because past a certain number of months a longer agreement or buying is usually cheaper.
