The EP / EPR at a glance
Hyundai’s EP pallet trucks move pallets across warehouses, retail operations and distribution centres. They all run on 24 volts with AC drive, regenerative braking and a slow “turtle” mode for tight spots, and are rated at a 600 mm load centre. The operator walks with the EP and rides on the platform of the EPR and EDPR.

The models
- 15EP: a compact 1,500 kg pedestrian truck with a gel battery and built-in charger, 685 mm wide and turning from 1,347 mm.
- 18EP and 20EP: 1,800 and 2,000 kg pedestrian trucks, travelling at 6 km/h unladen.
- 20EPR and 25EPR: 2,000 and 2,500 kg ride-on trucks with a fold-down platform and electric power steering, for longer runs and unloading lorries at a dock.
- 20EDPR: a double-deck ride-on truck that moves two 1,000 kg pallets at once, or works as a 2,000 kg pallet truck, with masts from 1,600 to 2,500 mm.
- 22EP6-7N: an earlier 2,200 kg model you may meet in used stock.

Checking a used pallet truck
Check the hours and the battery discharge indicator, then test the electromagnetic brake, the anti roll-back on a slope, the belly switch, the emergency switch and the lift cut-off. Look at the drive wheel and polyurethane load wheels for wear, and at the grease points on the pivots. The battery comes out from the side for a close look. Our engineers inspect every used Hyundai pallet truck before sale.

As Hyundai’s exclusive dealer and distributor we supply the EP, EPR and EDPR new with the fork length you need. Powered pallet trucks are available on hire and lease; ask us which models are available now. We run powered pallet truck and ride-on pallet truck training at our centres and on customers’ sites.
