The GS-69 RT at a glance
Genie’s GS-69 scissors are built for rough ground: uneven sites, sand and mud where a slab scissor would stall. The RT versions run on diesel with four-wheel drive, and the DC versions are all-electric at 48 volts for quiet, zero-emission work indoors and out. All drive at full height and carry several people on a large platform.

- GS-2669: 8 m platform height, 680 kg, four people indoors or out.
- GS-3369: 9.96 m platform height, 454 kg, four people indoors and two outdoors.
- GS-4069: 12.30 m platform height, 363 kg, three people indoors and two outdoors.
Every GS-69 is 1.75 m wide with a 2.79 by 1.60 m platform and a 1.52 m extension deck that takes 136 kg. The GS-2669 RT climbs 40% stowed; the other RT models and the DC manage 35%. The BE versions pair the batteries with a generator for bi-energy work.

The GS-5390
The GS-5390 is Genie’s largest rough-terrain scissor: a 16.15 m platform height, 680 kg and four people, with outriggers as standard and a 2.34 m wide chassis. It drives at up to 10.06 m platform height.
Checking a used rough-terrain scissor
Inspect the scissor pins and retaining fasteners, wear pads, tyres and wheels, drive motors and hydraulic hoses, and look for cracked welds or heavy corrosion. On the DC, check the battery pack and connections; on the RT, the engine fluids. Quarterly, annual and two-yearly maintenance must be done by a qualified person, and a machine out of service for more than three months needs the quarterly inspection before it is used again. Our engineers inspect every used Genie before sale.
Supply, hire and training
We supply the GS-69 and GS-5390 as an authorised Genie dealer, and our engineers look after their servicing and examinations. Scissor lifts are available on hire and lease; ask us which models are available now. We run scissor lift training at our centres and on customers’ sites.
