The B-X at a glance
The B-X is Hyundai’s heavy electric forklift: a 309 to 348 volt lithium-ion truck from 4 to 9 tonnes, built to do the work of a heavy diesel with no exhaust. It shares its chassis, front axle, mast and cab with Hyundai’s diesel trucks, so it is built for the yard rather than the warehouse floor.

Two sizes
- 40B-X to 55B-X: 4,000 to 5,500 kg. A 50B-X carries 5,000 kg at a 600 mm load centre, lifts to 6,482 mm on the tallest mast and travels at up to 26 km/h.
- 60B-X to 90B-X and 80B-XL: 6,000 to 9,000 kg. The 80B-XL is the long-load version, rated at 8,000 kg at a 900 mm load centre, and lifts to 7,535 mm.
Both sizes run on pneumatic tyres, with twin front wheels on the heavier trucks.

Charging and runtime
The battery is lithium iron phosphate with its own thermal management and needs no daily or weekly maintenance. With the 93 kWh battery and a 40 kW charger, a charge takes about two hours and gives up to 11 hours of work. The battery, drive motor and hydraulic motor are sealed to IP67, and the vehicle control unit to IP69K, for wet and dusty yards.

The B-X works in timber yards, recycling, ports, steel, construction materials and heavy manufacturing, where sites have run diesels because of the loads and now want lower noise and no fumes around people.
Before you buy
This is a high-voltage machine, isolated for servicing through a manual service disconnect plug, so servicing is a job for our engineers. The display shows battery status, warnings and the next maintenance interval, and factory telematics can report on the truck remotely. Our engineers inspect every used B-X before it is sold.
Supply, hire and training
We supply the B-X new as Hyundai’s exclusive dealer and distributor, sized to your loads. Heavy forklifts are available on hire and lease; ask us which models are available now. We run counterbalance forklift training at our centres and on customers’ sites.
