The BRJ-9 at a glance
The BRJ-9 is Hyundai’s seated reach truck. The mast reaches forward to pick and place the pallet and pulls back inside the wheelbase to travel, so the truck works in far narrower aisles than a counterbalance forklift. It suits warehouses that need dense pallet storage or fast put-away and retrieval.

Four capacities
- 14BRJ-9 and 16BRJ-9: 1,400 and 1,600 kg at a 600 mm load centre, with masts up to 10,506 mm.
- 20BRJ-9 and 25BRJ-9: 2,000 and 2,500 kg, with masts up to 12,007 mm.
Every BRJ-9 runs on 48 volts with AC motors: a 7.5 kW drive and a 14 kW lift motor. It travels at 14 km/h unladen, and with a 1000 x 1200 pallet crossways the working aisle is from 2,749 mm on the 14BRJ-9 to 2,872 mm on the 25BRJ-9.

Built-in safety
Curve control slows the truck on corners, traction speed drops automatically once the mast rises above free lift, and an anti roll-back system holds it on slopes. A load indicator, camera, automatic tilt levelling and a fork height preselector are options, and a cold store version is available.
The BRJ-9B
The later 16BRJ-9B and 20BRJ-9B cover 1,600 to 2,000 kg with masts to 9,500 mm, and the 2,000 kg 20BRJ-9BH is the extra-high-lift model, reaching 13,500 mm. They add a lithium-ion option, selectable 180° or 360° steering and electro-hydraulic proportional controls.
Checking a used reach truck
The display records operation errors, system faults, battery level and hours, so read it first. The controller logs faults and protects against low and high voltage and overheating. Under the hinged hood, check the fuse box, battery disconnect and emergency switch, then the mast, chains and reach carriage. Our engineers inspect every used BRJ-9 before it is sold.
