The ECU / ECH / ECV at a glance
STILL’s ECU, ECH and ECV are compact pedestrian trucks for short runs and tight spaces: the ECU and ECH move pallets at floor level, and the ECV stacks them. All are rated at a 600 mm load centre.

Specification
ECH 12C and 15C
The ECH 12C and 15C carry 1,200 and 1,500 kg over short, level routes and in confined spaces. A 24-volt, 20 Ah lithium-ion battery keeps them light at 115 kg; they are 560 mm wide and turn in 1,390 mm. The earlier ECH 12 and ECH 15 you may meet used are also lithium-ion, the ECH 15 on 48 volts with a built-in charger.

ECV 10 stackers
The ECV 10 lifts 1,000 kg on a telescopic mast for light and occasional stacking, and doubles as a mobile workbench. The ECV 10 C is the compact version, and the ECV 10iC adds initial lift, carrying 1,200 kg with it raised.
The earlier ECU pallet trucks
The ECU carried 1,400 to 3,000 kg over short distances, with an enclosed three-phase drive. The ECU 14 Full Lead suits lorry ramps, narrow gangways and supermarket aisles; the compact ECU 15 C, 574 mm wide, works on mezzanines, in lifts and on the backs of lorries; and the ECU-SF 20 adds a hinged platform for riding on longer runs.
Checking a used truck
Look for oil leaks, heavy wear on the wheels and bent or cracked forks, and check that the brakes hold as soon as the tiller is let go and that the emergency stop and anti-crush switch work. On lithium-ion trucks, check the battery for any bulge and the terminals for blackening. The nameplate gives the year and the minimum battery weight. Our engineers inspect every used STILL pallet truck before sale.

As STILL’s exclusive dealer and distributor we supply the ECH 12C, ECH 15C and ECV 10 new. Powered pallet trucks are available on hire and lease; ask us which models are available now. We run powered pallet truck training at our centres and on customers’ sites.
