The head office, and a working depot with it
Ellisam House sits on Purfleet Industrial Park beside the Thames, a few minutes from junction 30 of the M25 and the A13 into London. It is where Acclaim is run from, and it is also a full service centre: engineers, a parts store and hire machines on the yard, covering the densest stretch of warehousing in the country.
The customers here run from a single machine in a start-up unit to fleets of more than a hundred across several sites, and the same team looks after both. Acclaim keeps one of the largest mobile engineering teams of any independent in the South East, which is what makes that range possible.
We have been supplying and looking after handling equipment since 1982 and have stayed independent throughout, so the machine we recommend is the one that suits the job. We are an exclusive dealer for STILL, Hyundai and Lonking.

Built for sites that cannot stop
Thames-side distribution runs to a clock. A truck standing idle in a bay at Lakeside or London Gateway is a booking slot lost, so the measure that matters is not how quickly somebody answers the phone; it is how often the engineer fixes it on the day they arrive. Across the company that is 92 out of every 100 callouts.
The scale of the engineering team here is the reason. Cover is planned in advance, and the same engineers who service a machine all year are the ones who come out when it stops.

A new unit taking its first forklift and a national account with a hundred machines across six sites want different things, and both are served from this building. The small operator wants the right truck and a straight price; the large one wants one agreement, one invoice and no chasing.
Contract hire and fleet management cover the second: the machines, the servicing, the LOLER thorough examinations and replacement cover, on a fixed monthly figure with a single point of contact.

Ellisam House is on Purfleet Industrial Park, off London Road, a few minutes from junction 30 of the M25 and the Dartford Crossing. There is parking on site and room for a lorry.
