The EXU at a glance
The EXU is a pedestrian electric pallet truck: the operator walks with it and it moves pallets at floor level. STILL built it in four sizes, the EXU 16, 18, 20 and 22, rated for 1,600 to 2,200 kg at a 600 mm load centre, on a 24-volt battery with a travel speed of 6 km/h. Its successor is STILL’s EXH, which we also supply.

How the EXU sizes differ
The number is the capacity in hundreds of kilograms: the EXU 16 carries 1,600 kg, the EXU 18 1,800 kg, the EXU 20 2,000 kg and the EXU 22 2,200 kg, all at a 600 mm load centre. Every size runs on 24 volts and walks at up to 6 km/h, so choose by your heaviest pallet.

Why buy a used EXU
A pallet truck does short, repetitive runs, so a well-kept used one does the same job as a new one for less money. Much of the difference between one used EXU and another is the battery: its type, capacity and age. Each listing on this page gives the year and the battery, and the photo is of that truck. STILL offered lithium-ion on the EXU 16, 18 and 20; those trucks are listed here as “EXU 16 Li-Ion” and so on. Every used machine comes with a current thorough examination.
Hire and lease
Powered pallet trucks are available on hire and lease, from a day with a minimum charge of one week at the weekly rate. The rates on this page are ex VAT; ask us which models are available now.
Servicing, inspection and training
Acclaim has sold and serviced STILL trucks since 1982 and is STILL’s exclusive dealer and distributor. Our own engineers service the EXU from eight UK depots, whoever supplied it. We run powered pallet truck training at our centres and on customers’ sites.
