Acclaim Handling has been supplying materials handling equipment since 1982 and is the longest-serving independent distributor of forklifts and warehouse equipment in the UK. This page covers our new machines: built to your specification where the job needs something particular, or supplied from current new stock where the specification already fits.

We are the exclusive dealer and distributor for STILL, Hyundai and Lonking, so new machines from those ranges come to you direct rather than through a middleman. The STILL range covers counterbalance, reach trucks, order pickers and warehouse equipment.

Lonking runs from 1,500 kg to 10,000 kg, from the LG15B up to the LG50B, and includes lithium-ion models. We stock Lonking parts as well.

Where a standard counterbalance will not do the job, we supply Combilift multi-directional and articulated trucks from 1,500 kg to 30,000 kg, from the C2500 up to the C30000. Combilift also build the Aisle Master articulated range, from 1,500 kg to 2,000 kg.

For very narrow aisle work there is Narrow Aisle Flexi, from 1,500 kg to 2,500 kg. All of these can be ordered new from the factory when nothing in current stock fits the aisle.

New machinery lead times are as low as 2-3 weeks. Factory-built specials take longer, and the honest answer depends on the model and the options you choose, so ask us for a date before you plan around it rather than assuming the shortest one.

Capacity, lift height and closed height decide most of it, then aisle width, then power source. Closed height is the one that catches people out: it is what decides whether the mast clears a doorway or fits inside a container, and it is not the same question as how high the truck will lift. Tell us the load, the aisle and the environment and we will come back with a specification rather than a catalogue.

Buy outright or finance through lease purchase, contract hire or operating lease via a third-party funder. Part exchange is open on any make and model, working or not, including redundant warehouse equipment that is only taking up floor space.

All our prices are ex VAT. Delivery is nationwide from our sites at Purfleet, Kent, Reading, Portsmouth, Rugby, Norwich, Spalding and Liverpool, with transport charged separately depending on where you are.

Servicing and repairs start from £90 ex VAT and thorough examinations from £135 ex VAT. We are CFTS accredited, so one thorough examination covers both LOLER and PUWER and you get a single report.

Parts, fleet management and a breakdown callout number are all handled in house, and every site runs plant training and forklift certification. Our accreditations are ISO 9001, ISO 45001, UKMHA, SafeContractor, RTITB, JOSCAR and Cyber Essentials.
