The C-Series at a glance
The C-Series is three forklifts in one: a side loader, a counterbalance truck and a narrow-aisle truck. It drives forwards, backwards, sideways and diagonally. The load rides on a low platform deck, while the mast reaches out to pick up and pulls back to set down. The cab sits beside the mast, so the driver has a clear view past a long load.

Specification
The range
- C2500 to C5000: the core trucks, from 2,500 to 5,000 kg, on diesel or LPG, with electric C3000E, C4000E and C5000E models on 80 volts. The C5000 XL has a higher platform and more ground clearance under the mast.
- C6000 to C14000: heavy-duty trucks for 6 to 14 tonnes.
- C20000 and C25000: the largest, rated at a 1,200 mm load centre for very long loads.
- C3000 ST and C4000 ST: stand-on versions, with the operator standing rather than seated.
On UK trucks the number is usually the capacity in kilograms at a 600 mm load centre, so a C4000 lifts 4,000 kg. Across the range, lift heights reach 12 metres and aisles can be as narrow as 2,200 mm.

Where it pays for itself
Timber, steel, pipe and metal profiles are the classic C-Series loads: lengths a front-loading forklift would have to carry across the aisle. With one truck to unload, move and rack them, a site can store long goods in narrower aisles and do without a second machine.
Checking a used C-Series
Our engineers inspect every used Combilift before sale. Tyres, brakes and hydraulics wear first, so look hardest there, then at the axles, steering, mast, chains and hoses. Quote the number on the serial plate for parts. Some imported trucks carry a model name in pounds rather than kilograms, so trust the capacity plate over the name.
Supply, hire and training
As an authorised Combilift dealer we supply new C-Series trucks built to order. Multi-directional forklifts are available on hire and lease; ask us which models are available now. We run multi-directional and side loader training at our centres and on customers’ sites.
