The CPD ESL at a glance
The CPD ESL is Lonking’s lithium-ion counterbalance forklift, built on the body of its 2 to 3.5 tonne engine trucks. It runs an 80-volt, 205 Ah lithium-ion battery with AC drive, so it has the build of a diesel truck with zero emissions and low noise, and the view through the mast is designed for safer stacking.

The models
- CPD25ESL: 2,500 kg at a 500 mm load centre, turning in 2,300 mm.
- CPD30ESL: 3,000 kg, turning in 2,400 mm.
- CPD35ESL: 3,500 kg, turning in 2,420 mm.
A 10 kW drive motor and 12 kW lift motor move it at up to 12 km/h. Masts run from the standard 3,000 mm up to 6,500 mm on a three-stage free-lift mast.

Charging and protection
The battery charges from 10% to full in 1.5 hours, so short breaks are enough to keep it working. The electrical system is sealed to IP65, and an emergency power-off switch and charging indicator are standard.
Checking a used CPD ESL
Look at the instrument for the charge level and any warnings, test the emergency power-off, and check the charging socket and cables. Then look at the mast chains, forks and tyres as on any counterbalance truck. Our engineers go through each used CPD ESL before it is sold.
Supply, hire and training
The CPD ESL is supplied new by us as Lonking’s exclusive dealer and distributor. Electric forklifts are available on hire and lease; ask us which models are available now. We run counterbalance forklift training at our centres and on customers’ sites.
