The LTX at a glance
STILL’s LTX tow tractors pull trailers and tugger trains, moving goods between production lines, stores and loading areas in fewer trips than a forklift could. The range runs from a compact stand-on tractor to a seated model for heavy trains indoors and out.

Specification
Three tractors
- LTX 20: a compact stand-on tractor, only 600 mm wide, towing up to 2,000 kg at 8 km/h. It suits laundries, airports and tight production areas, runs on a 24 V, 200 Ah battery, and is an indoor tractor rated for slopes of 5% laden and 10% empty.
- LTX 50: a stand-on tractor for tugger trains of up to 5,000 kg, at 8 km/h laden and 14 km/h empty, on 24 V with lead-acid or lithium-ion batteries.
- LTX 70: a seated, 48-volt tractor for trains of up to 8,000 kg, working indoors and out, with an automatic parking brake and service intervals of 1,000 hours.
The LTX-T versions add a load bed behind the driver, so the tractor can carry goods as well as tow: 400 kg on the LTX-T 04, 600 kg on the LTX-T 06 and 800 kg on the LTX-T 08.

Checking a used tow tractor
Test the electromagnetic and regenerative brakes, the emergency stop, horn and operator presence switch, and check the battery lock and tow coupling. On the LTX 70, look at tyre pressures and condition, the brake shoes and the automatic coupling. Our engineers inspect every used LTX before it is sold.
Supply, hire and training
As STILL’s exclusive dealer and distributor we supply the LTX 20, LTX 50 and LTX 70 new, sized to your trains. For short-term needs, ask us about tow tractor hire. We run tow tug training at our centres and on customers’ sites.
