Not sure which machine you need?
Machine finderCompact, walk-behind or ride-on
- Compact (Kärcher BD and BR): for smaller areas, between racking and around fittings. The BD 43/25 C covers 1,720 m² an hour on battery power; the BR 45/22 C has a roller head that turns through 200 degrees each way and covers 1,800 m² an hour. See BD and BR scrubber dryers.
- Walk-behind (Kärcher B 50 W and B 80 W): 3,060 to 4,500 m² an hour with 50 or 80 litre tanks, for warehouse aisles and production floors.
- Ride-on (Kärcher B 110 R): 4,500 m² an hour, or 5,100 m² an hour with the side scrubbing deck, for large open floors. See B scrubber dryers.
Choosing a floor scrubber
Start with the floor area to clean each shift and the narrowest aisle the machine has to work in. Then look at the floor itself: a disc head suits smooth and sealed floors, and a roller head also picks up small debris as it scrubs.
Battery machines work anywhere on site without a cable; mains machines suit smaller areas near a socket. Tell us the floor area, the aisle width and how often you clean, and we will recommend the model.
Buy, hire or lease
Every model is available to buy new, on floor scrubber hire or on a long-term lease, and our engineers handle servicing and repairs on Kärcher and other makes. For large floors cleaned on a schedule, see robotic floor scrubbers, which clean on their own once they have learned the route.
