These courses are best suited at your site for the most accurate training on what they will be using on a day-to-day basis. In-house courses are designed to have the candidates only certificated on your site meaning, they are trained on what they will be using.

Course Content – What’s Included?
  • Introduction to the course
  • Ensure the safe passage of reversing vehicles in confined spaces
  • Correct PPE
  • Identify areas of danger within the site and promote safe site practice
  • Demonstrate HSE and Road Transport Industry Training Board recommended code of signals
  • Monitor and assess the performance of other banksmen
  • Communication with driver
  • Correct positioning of banksman / which side of the vehicle to be
  • Practice the banksman role
  • Basic test of operating ability – Associated Knowledge Examination
  • Basic test of operating ability – Test of Practical Operating Skills
  • Feedback
  • Course closure
