What Aisle Master builds
Aisle Master is "Part of the CombiLift group" (source: aisle-master.com), and Combilift's global headquarters and "state-of-the-art facility" are in Co. Monaghan, Ireland (source: combilift.com). An Aisle Master is an articulated counterbalance truck: the front section pivots, so the truck can turn into a rack without the whole chassis swinging round. The manufacturer states its trucks work in aisles "as narrow as 1.6m" with "lift heights up to 15m" (source: aisle-master.com).
AC electric Aisle Master
The manufacturer lists the AC electric range at "1500kg to 3000kg" capacity, with masts from "4300mm to 15000mm". It runs an "AC Traction motor (19.5 kw)" on "48v", with batteries from "620 Ah to 930 Ah". Quoted maximum travel speed is "16kph"; lift speed "0.4 m/s" laden and "0.5 m/s" unladen; gradeability "12%" laden and "15%" unladen (source: aisle-master.com, AC Electric Aisle Master).
LPG Aisle Master
The LPG model is listed at "2000kg" capacity with masts from "4300mm to 12400mm", a "3.0l GM Water Cooled" engine, "Hydrostatic drive" and a "Closed loop fuel system as standard". Quoted ground speed is "11kph" and gradeability "15%" laden and unladen. The manufacturer describes it as "ideal for indoor and outdoor operation" (source: aisle-master.com, Aisle Master LPG).
Aisle Master Order Picker
There is also a dedicated order picker: "2000kg" capacity, mast range "4300-12100mm", "600mm" load centre, the same "AC Traction motor (19.5 kw)" with "a choice of 620/775/930 amp-hour capacity batteries", and a quoted ground speed of "8km/h" (source: aisle-master.com, Aisle Master Order Picker).

Aisle Master trucks Acclaim holds
Acclaim's Aisle Master stock is rated 1,500 kg to 2,000 kg and includes the 15SE, 15SHE, 20SE and 20WHE. Stock moves. Check the articulated forklifts listings for what is on the yard today, or ring 01708 861 414 and we will tell you.
We also stock Flexi and Narrow Aisle articulated trucks, so if the spec you need is not sitting on an Aisle Master today there may be an equivalent that is.
Buying new: factory orders
Acclaim can order new Aisle Master machines direct from the factory. Tell us the aisle width, the top beam height and the heaviest pallet you handle, and we will spec the mast and the truck against it. We supply the machine, deliver it, service it and keep it in parts.
Buying used
The vast majority of our used trucks are ex-own-hire-fleet, machines we bought new, hired out and maintained ourselves. We know their history because we wrote it.
Before a used machine goes to a customer it is inspected thoroughly against our standards. Every used machine is supplied with a current report of thorough examination. We also refurbish, if you want a machine brought back further than a pre-sale inspection would take it.

Hiring an Aisle Master
There is no minimum hire period. You can have a machine for a day if that is all you need. The minimum charge is one week at the weekly rate.
If a hired truck does not work you get your money back on it, we will send an engineer out to fix the machine, and if we judge it necessary we will put a prop-up machine in while yours is down. That applies to everything we hire, not just forklifts. See forklift hire.
Service, parts and thorough examination
Acclaim runs comprehensive and planned maintenance contracts with our own engineers.
Acclaim is CFTS accredited and the accreditation is current: a CFTS examination covers LOLER and PUWER together and gives you one examination and one report. We examine machines we did not supply, and we examine lifting accessories (slings, chains, forks and attachments) as well as the trucks. See LOLER thorough examinations.

Finance, training, transport and cover
Finance. Outright purchase, lease purchase, contract hire and operating lease, on new and used machines, through a third-party funder.
Operator training. Acclaim is RTITB accredited with nine in-house instructors. See training.
Delivery and transport. We deliver nationwide; the fee depends on the postcode. Our forklift transport service is open to third parties, for all machine types.
Accreditations. CFTS, ISO 9001, ISO 45001, UKMHA, SafeContractor, RTITB, JOSCAR and Cyber Essentials. See health and safety compliance.
