Acclaim Handling increases service presence on the South Coast

Acclaim has recently acquired our fellow Hyundai Dealer, Euro Trucks Direct (South) Ltd who we welcome into the Acclaim family. Euro Trucks were founded by Brian Hamblin in 2004 and are the original importer for Hyundai Materials Handling in the UK. Since its inception, Euro Trucks have continued to develop a strong reputation within the Materials Handling Equipment industry for  outstanding customer service.

The business itself is built upon the same principles of Acclaim and it is for this reason combined with its strong financial base that we have strengthened our links with this thriving firm. Acclaim and Euro Trucks come together forged off the back of similar culture and ethos respectively which means that Euro Trucks will dovetail well into Acclaim’s operations.

Euro Trucks are based in Horndean, Hampshire  (near Portsmouth) with a strong long-standing presence along the South Coast of England and will continue to run under its current name.

Acclaim & Euro Trucks have already worked together in partnership on various projects over the years given our mutual association with Hyundai.  Hyundai was founded in 1947 is amongst the 50 largest global corporations with forklift trucks being one of many industry sectors which they are active in. Even the name “Hyundai” itself comes from the Korean word for Modern, chosen to symbolise the company philosophy of success from innovation. Acclaim & Euro Trucks continue this legacy by providing high quality, value-driven machinery which includes both the Hyundai brand as well as premium STILL range of equipment to support an ever-evolving industry.
