Forklift servicing in Cheshire: common questions
Who comes out to Cheshire?
An engineer from our Liverpool Service Centre at Prescot, Merseyside (L34 9HN). They are field based and work from a stocked van, so the great majority of servicing, examinations and repairs are finished on your own floor in one visit.
Can we hire a machine while ours is off the road?
Yes. Hire starts at £85 and runs from a single day up to long-term contract hire, with the minimum charge one week at the weekly rate. The hire fleet is the same STILL, Hyundai and Lonking equipment we sell and service.
What happens if a machine stops mid-shift?
Call 01708 861 414. A breakdown callout runs 24/7 and the engineer arrives with a stocked van, which is why 92% of callouts are fixed on the first visit. If a repair is going to take longer, we can get a replacement machine to you.
Do you look after machines you did not supply?
Yes, and most of the 3,500 machines we maintain came from somewhere else. Make and model make no odds: diesel, LPG and electric counterbalance, reach trucks, powered pallet trucks, stackers and access equipment are all covered.
Can you cover several machines on one agreement?
Yes. A maintenance contract across a fleet in Cheshire fixes the schedule, the parts and the examination dates in one place, and larger fleets can be run through our fleet management service with a portal to see the whole picture.
