For those attending a 10 day instructor training, candidates must provide documentary evidence of having successfully completed a Basic Operating Skills course for the machine type (Counterbalance) within the 12 months preceding the course start date (there is no requirement for this to be an RTITB accredited operator training course). In the event of any other evidence being presented please contact the Exam Team in advance of course commencement; failure to do so may result in the candidate being ineligible for examination. In addition, it is strongly recommended that candidates are able to provide information to the accredited organisation on a minimum of 6 months’ industrial experience of operating lift trucks. Accredited organisations should consider the candidates’ literacy and numeracy levels prior to acceptance on the instructor course.
Note: If you are a beginner and would like to refresh your operating skills to the level necessary to pass one of our instructor courses, please do get in touch.
