Training on your own site in Cambridge means your operators are assessed on your own trucks, in your own racking and your own yard, which is exactly where the certificate needs to count.
You will need three things in place: the appropriate equipment, a designated training area with racking and bulk stacking, and somewhere suitable for the theory part of the course. If you are not sure your site qualifies, we will talk it through.

Scheduled courses run at our three RTITB accredited centres through the year, and each centre's accreditation certificate is published on the course pages. Our Chatham training centre also runs courses, if its dates suit you better.

Fees shown are the training fee, ex VAT. Pallet trucks, stackers and access platforms take 1 to 2 days. If you choose national rather than in-house certification, a certificate and registration fee is added for each candidate.
Courses in Cambridge are charged at £360 per training day, ex VAT. How many days depends on the type of truck and the number of candidates, and we set that out before you book. Candidates finish with nationally recognised certification.

If you have been asked to get a forklift licence for a job in Cambridge, this is what you need. There is no forklift licence in UK law. What the law requires is that every operator is trained, assessed and authorised by their employer, and a certificate from an accredited course is how that training is evidenced. Where is the nearest forklift training centre to Cambridge?
Our Head Office South East at Purfleet, Essex (RM15 4YD). Courses also run at our Southern Service Centre in Chatham. Access platform (MEWP) and telehandler courses run from our Purfleet and Kent centres.
How much does forklift training cost in Cambridge?
Training is £360 per training day, ex VAT. On a counterbalance or reach truck, one novice takes 3 days (£1,080), three novices 5 days (£1,800), and a refresher for up to three operators 1 day (£360).
Do I need a forklift licence to work in Cambridge?
There is no forklift licence in UK law. Employers must make sure operators are trained, assessed and authorised, and a certificate from an accredited course is how that is evidenced.
Is the training accredited?
Yes: RTITB accredited (RTITB is one of the accrediting bodies recognised by the HSE), and finishing in certification that is recognised across the UK.
