Two ways to train in Liverpool
On your site
Our instructor comes to you
Training on your own site in Liverpool means your operators are assessed on your own trucks, in your own racking and your own yard, which is exactly where the certificate needs to count.
What your site needs: the right trucks, a marked-out training area with racking and bulk stacking, and a room for the theory session. Not sure you have all three? Ask us and we will tell you.
At our centre
Purfleet training centre
Scheduled courses run at our three RTITB accredited centres through the year, and each centre's accreditation certificate is published on the course pages. Our Cosham training centre also runs courses, if its dates suit you better.

How to book forklift training in Liverpool
- Tell us the truck, how many operators, and their experience. Those three things decide whether it is a novice, refresher or conversion course, and how many days it takes.
- Choose where it runs. For a business, that can be on your own site in Liverpool, or places on a course at our Purfleet training centre. If you are booking for yourself rather than through an employer, you train at one of our three centres.
- We confirm the length and the total before anything is booked. Every course ends in nationally recognised certification.

Course finderDo operators in Liverpool need a forklift licence?
"Forklift licence" is how most people in Liverpool search for this, and it is worth knowing what the law actually asks for. Strictly, no such licence exists. Employers have to make sure every operator is trained, assessed and authorised, and the certificate from an accredited course is the record of it. Our guide to the forklift licence sets out exactly what is required, and am I legally liable? covers where the responsibility sits. On a reach truck, the reach truck licence course page gives the course lengths and prices.
